ABOUT US
AGISA is a proudly Level 2 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) South African Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs) engineering design and consulting firm whose speciality is centred in four key market sectors: municipal infrastructure (civil and electrical;), bulk water, municipal compliance services and bio-resource engineering.
AGISA is a Setswana word meaning “help someone build”. In Tswana believe, peace is something that is built with the help of others, no one builds peace by themselves. Peace is also seen as a progressive matter, and not a once off thing. Peace, like infrastructure is built and takes time. AGISA strive to build peace of mind with the solutions and services offered to our clients.
AGISA draws its engineering capacity from its professional registered employees. The skills base, capacity and expertise are through experienced professionals who have gained cumulative experience of over more than 100 years in the consulting engineering industry.
Our primary strength is our ability to propose quality, economical viable designs, which minimizes construction time. Under our recommendation, several projects, which we undertook were re-designed for better economy in terms of material cost and construction time. We have also gained recognition for our ability to provide design solutions that are practical yet innovative in their use of materials.
B-BBEE certification
AGISA is a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) exempted micro enterprise at 125% B-BBEE recognition Level 2, 70% black owned. AGISA strongly believes in and supports the capacitation and promotion of historically disadvantaged individuals.
As the company grows, we will continue to give priority to the historically disadvantaged, but not at the expense of proportional representation, as entailed in the Employment Equity Act (55 of 1998). In terms of the Employment Equity Act, Employers are obliged to afford employment opportunities to the overall population demographics of the country in a balanced and representative manner.
