Ambrose Khumalo
Chief Executive Officer
Ambrose is a registered Professional Engineering Technologist with 14 years of experience in municipal infrastructure development.
As Chief Executive Officer of AGISA, he provides strategic leadership and oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects are effectively planned, resourced and managed. His experience includes project coordination, stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, business administration and the supervision of multidisciplinary technical teams.
Ambrose plays an active role in monitoring project programmes, budgets, quality requirements and contractual obligations to ensure that assignments are completed in accordance with client expectations and professional standards. He is recognised for his dependable leadership, integrity and clear communication, as well as his ability to build strong working relationships with clients, municipal officials, contractors and other project stakeholders.
His combination of technical understanding and business-management capability supports AGISA’s commitment to practical engineering solutions, responsive service and successful project delivery.
Elmar Deysel
Chief Operations Manager
Elmar is a registered Professional Engineer with more than 20 years of practical, design and management experience in civil and bio-resource engineering.
As Operations Manager of AGISA, he provides technical leadership and oversees the planning, design and implementation of multidisciplinary engineering projects. His experience includes water-source development and abstraction works, bulk pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, water-reticulation systems, agricultural infrastructure and irrigation projects.
He also has extensive experience in Water Conservation and Water Demand Management programmes, including bulk metering, water-loss assessments, IWA water balances, monitoring systems and the preparation of municipal water-sector plans and compliance reports.
Elmar has managed projects through the full engineering lifecycle, from feasibility studies and preliminary design to procurement, construction monitoring, commissioning and close-out. His practical approach, technical knowledge and project-management capability enable him to develop economical, implementable solutions while maintaining effective communication with clients, municipal officials, contractors and other stakeholders.
The leadership team is supported by qualified professional and technical personnel registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa and other recognised professional bodies.
